> THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA, WITNESS OF GREAT CIVILISATIONS

There is no sea older and more cultured than the Mediterranean: all different civilisations surrounding it are intimately connected. History named it with several appellatives: Roman “Mare Nostrum”, Turkish “White Sea”, Egyptian “Great Green”, Jewish “Great Sea”, German “Middle Sea”, Japanese “Sea within lands”. It is was always considered a sea of knowledge, conquer, hope and life. For riders of the “6+6 Isole del Mediterraneo” will be the sea connecting two docking points in marvellous lands, Sardinia and Sicily.
